- Profile information: Display name, relationship phase, relationship length, living situation, and preferences you choose to share.
- Personality and insights: Responses to assessments (e.g., attachment style, love languages, communication style) and additional insights you provide.
- Content you create: Messages to your partner ("fan mail"), date preferences, chore assignments, important dates, gift preferences, and similar data.
- Notification preferences: Your choices for email and push notifications.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: How you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and time spent.
- Device information: Device type, operating system, and browser type.
- Log data: IP address, access times, and referring URLs.
Third-Party Integrations
If you connect Google Calendar, we receive calendar data (e.g., free/busy information, event details) necessary to provide date planning features. We store encrypted tokens to maintain the connection. Google's use of your data is governed by their privacy policy.
Google OAuth and Calendar Access
- Google Sign-In: Basic profile information (name, email address, profile photo) to create and manage your account.
- Google Calendar: Read access to calendars and events you authorize, including free/busy status and event details, to support date planning features.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service
- Personalize content, tips, and recommendations for you and your partner
- Send you notifications (with your consent) and respond to your requests
- Analyze usage to improve the Service and develop new features

3. Sharing Your Information
With your partner: Content you create within the Service (e.g., fan mail, shared plans, chore assignments) is visible to your linked partner. This is core to how the Service works.
Service providers: We use third-party providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, authentication) that process data on our behalf. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

- Supabase: Database, authentication, and storage services
- Google: OAuth authentication and Google Calendar integration
